Chinese Temple

China has many Buddhist temples. Despite a lot of them have been damaged or destroyed in the past decades, the Chinese have been rebuilding and renovating them. The Lingyin temple is near Hangzhou, one of China’s richest and most popular cities near Shanghai.
I visited it three times during my stay in China. It’s usually crowded and rather touristy, but this doesn’t make it less interesting or less real to the pilgrims. The temple is famous for its stone Buddha figures all over the mountains around it.
