A Brief Visit to Beijing

I visited Beijing in September 2012. It was a quick and brief but quite eventful visit. Beijing is pretty different than Shanghai. You can feel the military presence here, people don’t move as freely on the streets as in Shanghai. Nevertheless, the city is captivating, young-spirited with a booming art scene.

Of course, I also visited The Great Wall. I managed to go there before the usual tourists buses arrive and photographed the wall with almost no people on it – usually a rare view. Enjoy the photographs!
