Malerweg Impressions
2014
The region Germans call Sächsische Schweiz is quite popular for its picturesque landscapes and nature. There are many hike routes to enjoy along the the so called Malerweg – painter’s road that inspired many known and unknown artists.
I spent a week hiking there. The mountains aren’t high and the route is easy, quite relaxing actually. The weather wasn’t always great; a lot of rain, nevertheless beautiful. I managed to capture a few sights of the mountain with the rain clouds rising up. However, I need to go again for another tour in hopefully better and more encouraging weather.
