Freezing in Hamburg
2016
In the spring of 2016 I visited Hamburg to photograph the city. The weather was a disaster, cold, windy and typically German – way too cold to pass for springtime weather. I had to buy myself a jacket to be able to walk outside for a longer time.
Nevertheless, I was able to take a few photo walks and capture some of the more famous landmarks on the shores of the Elbe River. The industrial sights on the Hamburg haven are colorful and even more impressive in a rainy weather.
